Fishie is a 14.2 HH, 17 year old grey Welsh Pony, that’s been with Higher Altitude Equestrians for a year and a half. She is a been there done that pony, that’s gotten many accolades from all around Colorado! She has taught many riders from their first time on a horse to first jumps and courses! Honest as the day is long and always gets you to the other side. She is also a member of our IEA team and helps riders navigate courses with only a two jump warm up! She also plays in the dressage arena, she’s solid 1st level and is flashy all dressed up.

Beauty is a 15.0 HH 17 YO blue roan Quarter Horse mare. She’s new to the program but has stolen hearts right away! She’s forgiving, honest and kind. We have used her in our more advanced lessons as well as groundwork lessons due to her saintly attitude! We want her to have a partner to grow with, so she’s on the market for an in-barn half or full care lease. She’s a perfect citizen off property and comes with her own motor! Couldn’t say enough great things about her!

EXPEDITION EVEREST “EVEREST”

Everest is a 16.2 HH 15 year old chestnut Trakhaner that’s been with Higher Altitude Equestrians for half a year. The owners are ready to move forward with a 1/2 lease starting is 2023 through HAE program. He’s safe, kind and fun to learn on! He rides to the level of the rider and has done everything from beginner lessons to working with 3′ hunter riders and excels at all levels! He’s got the stride for the lines but also happy to do the add step. Automatic lead changes and solid flatwork including lateral work: shoulder-in, shoulder-out, leg yielding and extension/collection.
